“My artwork depicts the ubiquitous beauty of Prince William County’s natural surroundings: the flowers in blossom, the bursts of color as birds settle from tree to tree, water droplets catching the light as fish splash in the rivers. It is necessary to preserve these natural wonders by keeping the county clean and taking an active part in the community, so that all can enjoy PW’s beautiful environment for years to come.”

“This springtime scene depicts the natural beauty that Prince William County has to offer. I was inspired by some plants, animals, & landscapes that are native to this county! They include the Manassas Battlefield fence, low tree-covered mountains, a cherry blossom tree, and a cardinal. The natural beauty of this scene is a reminder to Keep Prince William County Beautiful!”

All three participants will be visited by Keep Prince William Beautiful’s Executive Director and Board President at their respective schools to be awarded their honorable mention certificates or awarded scholarship prize.
