Keep Prince William Beautiful is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring the installation of a pollinator garden at the Prince William County Landfill Eco-Park. On June 30, we received the community restoration grant to go forward with this project. The installation of this project is projected to begin this summer/early autumn, followed by receiving the actual bee population next spring.
We are excited for this project because of the health and beauty benefits bee communities bring to the environment. Not only will this pollinator garden support environment sustainability, but it will also serve as an educational outreach opportunity for local schools.
