Adopt-a-Spot Educational Outreach

By January 7, 2015No Comments

KPWB is doing everything we can to stay busy during these cold winter months! We ended the year by organizing a litter and recycling education seminar at Rosa Parks Elementary School in Woodbridge, VA. Members of Girl Scout Troup 468 gathered and learned about the consequences of littering as well as the responsibilities of participating in our Adopt-a-Spot program. The seminar was lead by our Environmental Programs Coordinator Damir Grljevic, he was joined by eight youth attendees and two adult attendees. We are very excited to start working alongside Troup 468 in the upcoming months.
