Compost Awareness Day
Come on out and support our Prince William Compost Awareness Day. It will be held Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Balls Ford Road compost facility. It is a free event that will consist of stations like the compost samples, food scrap collection run by Freestate Farms, the compost bin sale run by PW county, composting and gardening information run by VCE Master Gardener volunteers, Community Beautification Opportunities run by Keep Prince William Beautiful. Freestate Farms will also be holding compost facility tours 11 a.m. and noon.
