Farm Field Days

We’re back! This year marks our 31st Anniversary for Farm Field Days!

Farm Field Days will be on Wednesday October 12 and Thursday October 13 from 10am-1pm at the Prince William County Fairgrounds, 10624 Dumfries Rd, Manassas, VA 20112. Β Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all of our wonderful volunteers, along with a shirt!

Volunteers need to arrive between 8:00-9:00am.
Buses of 4th graders typically arrive between 9:40-10:00 (some come late and may miss their first barn).
The event runs from 10:00-12:55
Lunch will be served after all of the buses have left.

***PLEASE HAVE EACH PERSON REGISTER SEPARATELY (INCLUDING MINORS). Β If you are registering on behalf of someone who will be accompanying you, make sure to fill the boxes with their name, barn choice, t-shirt size, and any dietary restrictions. You can put 0’s in the starred boxes (like address and phone number) and make a note that person is with you.

If you are bringing livestock, please don’t register them more than once.

All of this greatly helps us with lunch and t-shirt counts. THANK YOU!

About Farm Field Days
Fourth grade students rotate through seven barns, with each barn highlighting an aspect of life on the farm using hands-on lessons. These demonstrations are geared to meet Virginia SOL measures. Farm Field Days is a fun and engaging hands-on approach to teaching students about the agricultural world around them, and opening their eyes to the importance of protecting our natural resources.

Farm Field Days 2022 happening! It will be held on October 12 (Wednesday) and October 13 (Thursday) at the Prince William County Fairgrounds.

If you want to volunteer, please fill out theΒ registration form. This form is very important for us as we have so many wonderful volunteers and want to make sure everyone is accommodated! Thank you in advance!
