Garden Talk: Native Plants

April is Native Plants Month! Join Plant NOVA Natives to learn about the beautiful native plants of Prince William County, their benefits, and how to use them in your garden.

Want to save butterflies, provide food for declining bird species, improve the ecosystem, and have fun in your garden? Give native plants a try! Join a speaker from Plant NOVA Natives and learn what plants are native to our area, how you can use them in your garden, and the benefits of doing so. Whether you have acres, a balcony, or a window box, there’s a native plant to meet your needs – and provide value to countless species.

Plant NOVA Natives is the Northern Virginia chapter of Plant Virginia Natives. Their mission is to encourage individuals and businesses to plant native species, creating valuable habitats for wildlife, and restoring our ecosystem. Visit their website to learn about native plants, find gardening resources, and explore volunteer opportunities!
