Landfill Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Program Reopens

The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling program at the County landfill will reopen to the public on Wednesday, February 8. Drop-off service will return to regular operating hours for all Prince William County residents on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekly. A new hazardous waste specialty company, Clean Harbors, has been contracted to provide the service. Residents may bring up to three (3) electronic items for recycling per visit, and they may bring up to 15 gallons of liquid or 40 pounds of solid in the  household hazardous waste category. There is no charge to County residents for this service.
An article with additional information on the reopening is available here.
