Protecting Quantico Creek: The Role of Prince William Forest Park in a Healthy Watershed with Kristi Shelton

February 2nd, 7pm | Online via zoom

Registration required | Free – donations are appreciated

Forest and vegetation cover have a huge impact on water quality and as our landscape changes, it begins to have an impact on stream health. When we begin to remove forest canopy and replace it with roads, parking lots, driveways, homes, and even grass, we immediately have an impact on watersheds.

Join us with biologist Kristi Shelton from Prince William Forest [National] Park to learn more about how forestland protects water quality and what Prince William Forest Park does to help ensure Quantico Creek remains one of the standards of healthy streams and watersheds in Northern VA!
