Virginia Bluebird Society Biennial Conference
The Virginia Bluebird Society will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of its founding on November 11th and 12th at NOVA’s Workforce Center in Woodbridge.
Scheduled events include social hour and dinner Friday evening with keynote address by author Julie Zickefoose (“The Bluebird Effect: Uncommon Bonds with Common Birds”). Saturday features an optional bird walk at Neabsco Creek Boardwalk, followed by breakout sessions sessions on topics including nestbox monitoring, developing backyard habitat, tips & tricks for bird photography, and a Q&A forum with North American Bluebird Society directors Kathy Kremnitzer and Bet Zimmerman Smith.
