Community Cleanups

Is your neighborhood in need of a little love? Organizing a neighborhood cleanup is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors and beautify your community at the same time. If you have a larger cleanup and arrange for a roll-off dumpster, KPWB may be able to reimburse hauler tipping fees provided the load contains only household waste.

Cleanup Registration

Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB) supports local organizations, communities, neighborhoods, and homeowner associations by providing supplies to encourage cleanups. KPWB provides the supplies in reusable bins, to include trash bags, gloves, vests, and pickers. KPWB requests that the cleanup coordinators complete an online reporting form following a cleanup to allow KPWB to utilize and report data. Community members are encouraged to host a cleanup in both the fall and spring, to ensure that their neighborhoods stay green all year round. Registrations must be submitted a minimum of FOUR WEEKS before the scheduled cleanup.

    I/We agree to conform to all terms and requirements of the Community Cleanup Program as established by Keep Prince William Beautiful, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference. The Applicant with whom this agreement is entered agrees that it shall at all times defend, indemnify and hold harmless Keep Prince William Beautiful, and its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from all responsibility, damage, or liability of any kind whatsoever, which may arise in any manner from Applicant's, or its officers', directors' employees', agents', permittees' or invitees', participation in the Community Cleanup Program, or in traveling to or from a cleanup which may have occurred in accordance with the requirements of the Program. Keep Prince William Beautiful will terminate the agreement at any time the applicants do not comply with this agreement or at any time the Applicant's work effort is considered unsafe. Keep Prince William Beautiful reserves the right to revise or discontinue this Program at any time. Please note that Prince William County employees are not to clean up on paid time. Furthermore, we agree to submit reports promptly following each cleanup to the Keep Prince William Beautiful organization.
