Woodcock Mating Dance Watch
Come see the captivating mating ritual of these unique birds!
Join us to watch the evening “Sky Dance” of male woodcocks as they enter the mating season. At twilight, we will find a viewing spot along Meadow Loop and settle down for a magical evening!
Please bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on, and binoculars if you’d like a closer view. Dress warmly as we will be sitting still in the dark and it will get chilly. You are welcome to bring a warm drink to sip as we watch. We also recommend a flashlight for navigating the trails by dark.
