Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB) attended Prince William Counties annual recycle day on October 14th 2017. Recycle day was at the Prince William County Landfill. On recycle day residents can come and learn what they can recycle, how they can recycle, and why recycling is important for the environment and economy.
Recycle day attendees were able to get a landfill tour and participate in interactive activities and games. KPWB had about 300 visitors come and visit their booth. Visitors were also able to learn about the educational programs KPWB has available for residents to get involved with, to further their initiative for Prince William County residents to Keep Prince William Beautiful.
